Vintage Dior Oblique Denim Double Saddle
Description
John Galliano's years at Dior were pure fantasy. He took a very proper, very Parisian house and made it bold, playful and a little bit rebellious, and the Saddle is the bag that shows that best. He designed it in 1999 and kept reworking it all through his time there, and the Double is one of the rarest versions: two saddle pouches stacked on top of each other, so you get twice the shape. The Double Saddle was not part of Dior's 2018 re-editions, which makes an original Galliano piece like this a true archival collectable. It comes in the original navy Oblique denim with yellow contrast stitching, just like your favourite jeans. Look closely and you'll see the strap carries both a C and a D charm instead of just the D, the full CD hanging off the side. Very collectable, and very special.
