Bottega Veneta Intrecciomirage Chain Flap Bag
Description
This is an older Bottega Veneta design from the Tomas Maier era, dating to Fall 2012, and features the house’s Intrecciomirage technique, a modern take on its iconic Intrecciato weave. Instead of individually woven leather strips, the signature diagonal pattern is heat-stamped and deeply engraved into a single piece of soft Nappa leather, creating the look of Intrecciato while making the bag sleeker and exceptionally lightweight.
The metallic gold finish makes the pattern even more noticeable, while the slim chain, compact flap silhouette and unexpected zip pocket along the bottom of the bag make this such a unique Bottega design. It’s no longer part of the house’s current collections, making it a special pre-loved find from a very different era of Bottega. Old Bottega, but still very now.
