He designed it in 1999 and kept reworking it all through his time there, and the Double is one of the rarest versions: two saddle pouches stacked on top of each other, so you get twice the shape. The Double Saddle was not part of Dior's 2018 re-editions, which makes an original Galliano piece like this a true archival collectable. It comes in the original navy Oblique denim with yellow contrast stitching, just like your favourite jeans. Look closely and you'll see the strap carries both a C and a D charm instead of just the D, the full CD hanging off the side.
